Today is supposed to be a snow storm all fay. I still have not dared to look out into the world but there is supposed to be 20cm today.
I think that will take Montreal into record snow this year. I believe 197 is currently the wrost on history but I think it was much worse on a storm angle. This year has been pretty mild for storms, just lots of snow.
Being from England it still amazes me and sometimes I just have to stand and stare at it coming down.

Squidoo and Micro Niche Finder
I have just created my first lense on Squidoo.
I used a great new keyword search and comparison program called Micro Niche Finder.
Micro Niche Finder helped me indentify a niche keyword and write a short article about the ipod nano.
All I have to do now and see if it attracts any traffic and I will let you know if it works in a couple of weeks.

Festival of Lights - Montreal
Hopefully off to the Montreal Festival of Lights tonight.
They have events going until 3am and we will probably not get there until midnight but should still have plenty to enjoy.
Hopefully I will post some highlights on one of my blogs some time tomorrow.

First attempt at uploading to Youtube
I made my first video for You Tube!
Horray.
I decided I would make an over dramatic recipe video and that is what I cam up with. Simple eh?
Well I would like to know what you think.
I just need a new DV cam and I can look at uploading more often.

Widgetbuck
One of my other sites www.therandomforest.info has just had Widgetbucks advertising added for testing. I will let you know how it is performing in a few weeks but it does look very snazzy.
Widgetbucks is like Adsense in some senses but the adverts seem much more lively and I am not yet sure how the click rates compare.
They show products that rotate every so often. Mine is set to every 6 seconds and also an updating list of deals.
It could be a great move.

Still cold
Oh Montreal you are a strange beast.
Just as the snow threatens to go away and it warms up a tad.... more snow comes. It's heading for a record this year. I reckon there has been around 300cm so far.
Back in the UK I was lucky to see 10cm all year! So this is still all very new to me and on most days exciting.
I still like jumping in snow and making snowmen. Everyone ensures me that the excitement will die but not yet.
Maybe if I am still here next winter it will be a different story.

Time for a change
As I am back blogging here and my experiences with blogging have moved forward so much I think I need to look for a new theme.
On my Wordpress based sites I tend to find a theme and mould it to fit but I am looking for a more out of the box one here.
Any ideas?
